November has come and gone and one thing is for sure, it was packed full of great games. Starting with Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare on December 4th, all the way through to Final Fantasy XV on December 29th. My backlog grew massively due to not having enough time or money to play even half the games I wanted. Not only did we get a shed load of games to play, but Playstation also released a piece of hardware in the form of the Playstation 4 Pro. Well now Playstation have released a list of the top performing games from the Playstation Store. These lists only take into account games purchased and downloaded directly from the Playstation Store.
The top ten selling PS4 games were:
- Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare
- Battlefield 1
- Final Fantasy XV
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition
- Star Wars Battlefront
- GTA V
- Watch Dogs 2
- Overwatch: Origins Edition
- EA Sports Fifa 17
- Far Cry Primal
Its great seeing Battlefront make a return to the top ten list after being out over a year. This is probably due to sales and the addition of the Rogue One DLC and VR mission. Call of Duty is at the top of the list even though its been reported that it under performed compared to other instalments in the series. It is worth noting that Final Fantasy XV made it to number 3 even though it only released on November 29th. I can not wait to see how it performs in the December list.
The top 10 Playstation VR games were:
- Job Simulator
- Carnival Games VR
- Robinson: The Journey
- Batman: Arkham VR
- Until Dawn: Rush of Blood
- O! My Genesis VR
- Eagle Flight
- Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes
- Playstation VR Worlds
- Holoball
Unfortunately there are no figures with the list, so its hard to tell how the VR games stack up against other PS4 games. Also it’s difficult to know how the Playstation VR is performing since Sony have yet to release any figures about the hardware. However, they have stated that the headset is on track with their expectations. If you want to see the full list released by Playstation including ps3 games, you can find it here.
