Roadhouse Interactive Limited today released Warhammer 40K: Carnage for Android, after the iOS version was featured as a Best New Game in over 80 countries, landing it atop the Role-Playing Category for mobile games on the iOS store throughout May. Now, Android gamers will be able to partake in the incredible action that Warhammer 40,000 has to offer. Carnage will take players through a vivid and engaging action-shooter, based on Warhammer 40,000 author Graham McNeil’s new story. The game will bring players to the world of Mithra as they take on the role of Space Marines who can play solo or join up with others for Fireteam missions, battling Orks to ensure the survival of humankind.
Warhammer 40K: Carnage has more than 500 pieces of Wargrear that players can use to gear up with to save the planet from the vicious Green Plague. “We’re thrilled to be launching Carnage on Android. It’s already proved to be a huge hit across a range of tablet and smartphone devices, so unleashing the game on Android is huge news for Warhammer 40,000 fans,” said Tarrnie Williams, President at Roadhouse Interactive. “The game is accessible to all, whether fans of the Warhammer 40,000 series, or new players hungry for the taste of Ork blood.”
In celebration of today’s launch, Roadhouse has thrown together a new trailer (seen below) for us to see Warhammer 40,000: Carnage in all its glory. And, if the trailer is anything to go by, Carnage looks to be quite a substantial mobile offering. It appears to be action-packed, with a ton of customization and gear options to toy with. How effective these options actually are remains to be seen, but hopefully they aren’t just for cosmetics. Carnage is the 21st game in the Warhammer 40k franchise, and there are still two more games in the franchise in development that we currently know about.
Warhammer 40,000: Carnage is now available for purchase on Google Play for $6.99.
