World of Warcraft just recently saw the release of the newest expansion, Warlords of Draenor. Now, Blizzard has released details on the upcoming 6.1 patch.
In the upcoming 6.1 patch for World of Warcraft, the game’s forum detailed a few new things that are being added. The first is the addition of Legendary Followers. Players will also be able to send out Tweets, including screenshots, in game. To help get players to their destinations faster, there will be shorter flight master routes. There will be garrison improvements, tweaks, and additions. There are new Blood Elf models on the way, along with tweaks and fixes to other character models. Blizzard is also exploring the possiblilty of giving players a way to buy tradable game-time tokens so players can exchange them in game with other players for gold. This would give players a way to use their extra gold to cover some of their subscription cost while giving players with less play time an option for acquiring gold from other players through a legit and secure system.
Recently Blizzard released the latest World of Warcraft expansion, Warlords of Draenor. The expansion raised the level cap from 90 to 100, and added new dungeons and raids, and introduced a new difficulty of raids called Mythic. Players are able to build and upgrade their own garrisons, where they can recruit NPCs to carry out missions to earn items. Warlords of Draenor sold 3.3 million copies in its first 24 hours, and saw World of Warcraft subscriptions jump up from 7.4 million to over 10 million. The expansion saw overall positive scores from critics. The game saw some difficulties during launch, leading Blizzard to compensate players five days of subscription time as a way to make up for the issues.
World of Warcraft is available for PC. The newest expansion, Warlords of Draenor, is now available. The expansion was released on November 13th.
