The Samsung Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 are part of the Korean tech giant’s newest series of relatively affordable metal smartphones. While the A3 is scheduled to launch later this year in China, the A5 has already been available on the market for some time now. The two devices were actually meant to come out earlier but various production issues forced Samsung to delay their release. These problems were more serious that initially anticipated as the manufacturer seems to be unable to launch the handsets in the other markets, or at least, it hasn’t announced anything regarding the matter just yet. However, new information suggests that both the Samsung Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy A3 might arrive in Europe early next year.
Dutch retailer GSMWijzere is saying that it will have the smartphones in stock by January and has already listed the pricing as well. Folks in the Netherlands who are interested in purchasing a Samsung Galaxy A5 will have to fork out €410 while those who are interested in the Samsung Galaxy A3 will only be set back €310. The pricing certainly isn’t all that bad, but it’s not the best either when you take into consideration some of the other offerings available on the market. Granted, a listing on a retailer’s website isn’t necessarily a confirmation that the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 will arrive with those price tags. I suggest you take this with a grain of salt until Samsung makes an official announcement.
Aside from the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3, the company has yet another similar device dubbed Samsung Galaxy A7. This phone has not been announced yet, but it already paid a visit to the FCC, which means that Samsung is probably preparing to launch it soon. The Galaxy A7 also comes with a metal frame and features better specs than its brothers. Pricing is expected to be in $450-$500 range.
