Moto X (2014) will be available at Verzion starting tomorrow

The highly anticipated second generation Moto X, also known as Moto X (2014) will be available for purchase from Verzion starting tomorrow. The carrier made the announcement earlier today while also revealing that the price will be $99.99 on a two-year contract. Verizon is offering the 16GB Black Moto X (2014) for the said price, but the carrier is also making available the White model with bamboo black for $99.99 as well. However, the latter will only be available at this price for a limited time so you better hurry. Now, if 16GB of storage memory seems too little, you can purchase the Verzion 32GB version for $149.99 via the Moto Maker. This is a special service that allows you to customize your Moto X (2014) in a number of ways so you don’t necessarily have to stick with the Black or White models.

As for the device itself, the Moto X (2014) features a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display complete with 1080 x 1920 resolution, 424 pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood you will find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor running at 2.5 GHz, an Adreno 330 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. The Moto X (2014) also sports a 13 MP primary camera with dual-LED flash, 2 MP secondary shooter and a 2,300 mAh battery. As mentioned, internal storage memory options only include 16GB or 32GB and there is no microSD card slot for user expanded memory. Motorola’s latest flagship smartphone currently runs on the Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system, but we can expect it to upgrade to Android L soon after Google releases the final build.
