Smartwatches are really cool. However, sometimes you just don’t want to wear a really bulky one, but you would like to have the features in a more delicate-looking device. The Banggood G26s smartwatch serves this purpose perfectly. It looks more like a bracelet than a smartwatch, but it offers you all the features a smartwatch could. It is more discreet, so you can wear it with almost any outfit but still get the sports and health-related info you want. Another thing that is great about this device is that it looks equally nice on men and women, so you won’t be goofy when you wear the same accessory as your significant other.
The design of the Banggood G26s is quite simple, yet the result is stunning. The Banggood G26s basically looks like a silicone strap that also has a screen. The silicone strap looks really nice and modern, due to the fact that it is dual-tone. The upper part of the strap is black, while the bottom can be black, purple, cyan, grey, green, blue, yellow or red. Basically, there is a color option to meet every expectation or desire. I personally prefer the colored ones, as they are fun and youthful, but I admit that the all-black variant has its charm too. It looks almost elegant, yet it is sporty too.
The rectangular screen is a 0.96-inch TFT one, with a 160*80 resolution and 178-degrees viewing angle. It kind of looks like an infinity-display. The colors on the screen are vibrant and nice, and they come together perfectly with the full assembly. Users can also choose between three theme interfaces, which are all quite nice. The silicone strap is really comfortable, even when it is hot. It just feels nice on the skin. The device only weighs 25 g, so you won’t even feel it on your wrist, it just does its job and works its wonders. Naturally, the Banggood G26s is waterproof, dustproof, and it comes with corrosion protection, so if you don’t smash it, it should last for a really long time.
Speaking of lasting for a long time, I was a little skeptical when I ordered the Banggood G26s, as it only has a 105mAh battery, and I have had some bad experience with a similar product, but it actually lasts for more than five days on a single charge. I did turn off the auto light up screen feature, to be honest, but even without it turned off, I think it should be able to ensure a more than decent battery life.
I chose the Banggood G26s mainly for its sports features. It is not 100% accurate, but it still does a good job at counting steps, distance, and calories burnt. It is also notable that it supports multi-sports mode. It works seamlessly no matter if you walk, run, cycle, or go hiking. The bracelet/ smartwatch constantly monitors the user’s heart rate, blood pressure, and blood oxygen levels too. I personally don’t care too much about the sleep monitoring feature on smartwatches, but I did try the feature on the Banggood G26s, as it wasn’t uncomfortable to sleep with it on my wrist. The device did deliver a report and it did wake me up with its vibrating, so I can’t complain about this feature either.
The Banggood G26s couldn’t be a good smartwatch if it didn’t offer support for incoming calls and message notifications. It does that and it even pushes social media notifications, so you will always know if something is going on on Facebook, Skype, Twitter, WhatsApp, and a number of other social media platforms.
Overall, the Banggood G26s surprised me in the best way possible. It is a comfortable gadget to wear with all the necessary features and then some. It is quite affordable too, as you can buy it for $26.41 on some days. Its original retail price would be $39.99, and it is almost worth the whole price too. However, if you can snatch it during a promotion for a lower price it is even better.
