Destiny 2 has just received another major new expansion, with Forsaken continuing the series’ massive story. There are lots of new missions, areas, weapons and more to dig into, which should keep gamers satisfied for a while. However, the question is just how long it will take owners of the game to get through it all, and this post will aim to answer just that.
We’ll start off with the meat of the Forsaken expansion, as there are six new story missions along with six other quests. The story missions should take the average players anywhere from 5 to 10 hours to complete, which depends entirely on player skill. There’s also a post-game mission you unlock after completing the campaign, which leads to another area.
The completion of the main campaign leads to the end game area, which is called the Dreaming City. Players can take on a gear quest from a new vendor called The Queen, as well as plenty of other activities to sink their teeth into. This area alone should result in several hours of gameplay for those looking to squeeze as much content out of the expansion as they can.
That should give you a general idea of what to expect from the expansion in terms of gameplay hours. It’s going to vary from player to player, but overall you should expect to have plenty to do in the Forsaken DLC. Destiny 2 Forsaken is available for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
