Retro Square Enix Titles On Sale for Holidays

Many of Square Enix’s classic games have lost some of their player base due to the necessity of using an old console to play them. Recently, however, Square Enix has allowed fans to relive their nostalgia by porting the “oldies” over to mobile devices. With the rapid surges in technology over the past few years, the average gamer holds a device with way more power than retro consoles in their pocket. Being able to pull out your phone and play some Final Fantasy VII or Chrono Trigger during your commute or a long road trip is a great way to experience these important entries in RPG history, and now they’re even on sale!

In a press release this morning, Square Enix announced a special sale offering up to 50% off on many of their classic titles ported over to mobile devices. The Square Enix sale offers deep savings on many Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, and Secret of Mana titles. The promotion will run from today through January 4, 2017 and includes savings on the iOS App Store, Google Play Store, and Amazon App Store.
