Xbox Store revealed that Halo 3: ODST will be coming to Xbox One this Friday, May 29th.
After the problems that plagued online players when Halo: The Master Chief Collection launched, 343 Industries had promised to release Halo 3: ODST for free. However, this promise has only been made for players who purchased and played The Master Chief Collection before December 19 of last year. It would be hard to imagine that Microsoft wouldn’t be allowing Halo 3: ODST for purchase for players who bought The Master Chief Collection after December 19.
A placeholder release date for the ODST campaign for Halo: The Master Chief Collection was inadvertently listed on the Xbox Store. (1/2)

We continue final testing and will make an official announcement once our release date is determined, and apologize for any confusion. (2/2)

Now with Halo 3: ODST joining the Halo crew on Xbox One, it only seems appropriate that Halo: Reach soon follows after. As of yet, there is no new for such a release, but until then, Halo 3: ODST will have to suffice for Halo fans.
