Developer Renegade Kid has created some great games over the last few years. Renegade Kid recently released Moon Chronicles and Xeodrifter on the 3DS eShop. Back in 2012, the developer launched Mutant Mudds on the 3DS. The game later appeared on HD on Wii U as Mutant Mudds Deluxe. Renegade Kid is back with Mutant Mudds Super Challenge.
In Mutant Mudds Super Challenge, gamers will be able to test their platformer skills. Mutant Mudds Super Challenge was even highlighted by Nintendo’s Damon Baker in the last direct. In this game, players will once again control Max as they try to ward off enemies. The game features all new art for each of the five worlds. The game will have a total of forty new levels. The developers have also created new music for the title. In terms of gameplay, players can look forward to secret pathways and an increased difficulty. As a bonus, gamers that purchase Mutant Mudds Super Challenge on Wii U will be given a free 3DS copy. Regardless of the platform, if you purchase the game you’ll receive another copy. (3DS or Wii U)
If you purchased the original Mutants Mudds on 3DS or Wii U, you’ll be issued a discount when buying Mutant Mudds Super Challenge. Nintendo doesn’t regularly have cross-buy offers so this is definitely great to see. If your new to the series, you can always download a demo of Mutant Mudds on the 3DS. The addition of the loyalty discount is an added bonus for gamers looking for a platform challenge. Mutant Mudds Super Challenge will launch on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS this June.
