Friday, March 13th Releases

  • Code Name S.T.E.A.M. for 3DS. S.T.E.A.M., or Strike Team Eliminating the Alien Menace, is a turn-based strategy game with third person shooting elements. This is a release that has been on the radars of many 3DS owners for quite a while. It takes place in an alternate version of London which is now a steampunk fantasy. The mechanics will seem familiar to those who have played the XCOM series, with actions such as Overwatch, which allows your character to shoot any enemies that pop into his or her sights, and a cover system. Also, the game will be compatible with Amiibo figures from the Super Smash Bros. collection, which allow you to play as those characters. You can purchase Code Name S.T.E.A.M. for $39.99 and it is available digitally on the eShop. You can also get it from Amazon or your favorite retailer.

That wraps up the major releases for this week. Which releases are you looking forward to the most?
