The Moto Maxx is the more or less international version of the Motorola Droid Turbo Verizon exclusive smartphone which first showed up on the Brazilian market last year. Many are hoping that non-Verizon customers will get a chance to purchase the Moto Maxx, as it is one of the best smartphones on the market right now and it comes with a rather decent price tag, too. The latest appearance of the Moto Maxx is said to be scheduled for India, where the handset will go on sale on Flipkart soon.
Flipkart has tweeted a teaser image that specifically hints at the Motorola Droid Turba aka the Moto Maxx, but they did not give out any availability or pricing information as of yet. We can assume that either Motorola or Flipkart will make an official statement unveiling the launch date and pricing for the Moto Maxx this week, although don’t take our word for that just yet. Android Central spotted the bean-spilling tweet first and you can check out their hands-on video with the Verizon Motorola Droid Turbo which is essentially a Moto Maxx at the end of the post.

The Moto Maxx or rather the Motorola Droid Turbo is one of the most popular Motorola devices of the past year, as it manages to compete quite well against flagships like the Galaxy Note 4 and LG G3, thanks to its QHD display that doesn’t compromise battery life too much. If you’re not familiar with the Moto Maxx, you should know that it comes with a 5.2 inch QHD display that is as bright as the sun and comes with great outdoor visibility and viewing angles, so there’s not much else to say about it.
The chassis of the Moto Maxx is note-worthy because it is made up of high-grade kevlar fiber and ballistic nylon, so the chances for you to destroy the device are quite slim. Unless you drop it on its massive display, in which case you might not be happy with the end result. When it comes to specs, the Moto Maxx is a leader in the field right now, with a SNapdragon 805 CPU backed by 3 GB RAM and either 32 or 64 GB internal memory. The camera setup is also very admirable, as the handset comes with a 21 MP shooter on the rear that is capable of 4K video recording and a 2 MP camera on the front. What’s more is that you get a pretty massive battery in the Moto Maxx, measuring 3500 mAh, which should keep that display running for the whole day.
