Well, this ought to be interesting: on E3 2015, Bethesda will have their first ever E3 conference. The RPG giant known for such hits as the Elder Scrolls and Fallout series have been known to create sweeping games full of grand spectacle, but never have they had their own specific conference for them to show off their awesomeness. Instead, Bethesda opted to showcase their products under the umbrella of other companies’ press conferences, such as Sony. While they had a booth, it was always on E3’s show floor.
But they’re not only trumpeting their wares at E3, no sir. There’s a catch: Bethesda is throwing together a campaign to allow fans and players to attend the E3 conference alongside the gaming press and industry insiders. No information has been given about this, but they will be bringing more details as the date comes closer.
What could they be announcing, though? Considering the buzz about their European tour, and the rumor mill churning fan anticipation about Fallout 4, there’s a distinct possibility that this could be what is unveiled this time. However, there are no actual concrete details one way or the other, so it’s up in the air whether or not they will actually be discussing Fallout 4 at this time, or will showcase another product. All we have to do is wait, right? In the next few months, they may tease with images or trailers to whet our appetites, at which point we’ll have a better idea what’s in store for us this E3.
Bethesda’s E3 conference will be on June 26, 2015 in LA; for those who won’t be able to make it to the conference in person, Bethesda promises to show the entire event on twitch, on their twitch page: twitch.tv/Bethesda. Dishonored 2 perhaps? Sound off below!
