Telltale Launches Game of Thrones Episode 2 Trailer

Telltale Games has released the official trailer for the second episode of their Game of Thrones series. Entitled “The Lost Lords”, the new instalment will follow the same characters we left off in the first episode. The new video on their official Youtube channel depicts characters we are familiar with from the game, show, and books. In the minute-and-a-half long trailer, we see Jon Snow, (actor Kit Harington in the TV series and voice of his character in-game) standing with Gared Tuttle on the Wall, Mira Forrester taking up residence in King’s Landing with fan favourite Lord Tyrion Lannister, and Asher Forrester returning to Westeros to help his family.

For a brief moment, the city of Yunkai is even shown, hinting to the fact that we may also see some of Daenerys Targaryen’s story in this upcoming release. The synopsis of the trailer states that “House Forrester is in disarray. Their liege lord and his heir are dead, and Ironrath is occupied by Whitehill soldiers. The survival of the family depends upon those who are left.” Telltale Games is known by fans for the drama, violence and shocking twists that are written into each new title. Those who watched the Game of Thrones TV series and read the Song of Ice and Fire books series had demanded a game adaptation last year and were rewarded with one. The story-driven medieval fantasy point-and-click adventure became outrageously popular due to the amount of fans the show and book series had already accumulated.

Released in December of last year, the precursor to this newest episode of the Game of Thrones series left players on a massive cliff-hanger. After two months of waiting, the second instalment is finally ready to be released for PC, Mac, PS3 and PS4 on the 3rd on this month, Xbox 360 and Xbox one on the 4th, and iOS and Android on the 5th.
