Atlus will be streaming more than 30 hours of new Persona content on February 4th in light of the upcoming “Persona Super Live 2015” concert. According to Atlus’s official Persona site, the purpose of the stream is to show the world of Persona off to individuals that may have never picked up a Persona game before. “By showing off the level of charm” the franchise is known for, Atlus hopes to gain new fans as well as keep longtime Persona advocates enthused about their upcoming projects, and all are welcomed to join in on the celebration of everything that is the Persona universe.
Persona 5, Atlus’s highly anticipated upcoming release for the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4, will most likely make an appearance in some form or another. Hopefully we will finally get to see some gameplay and maybe even get a release date.
To celebrate the “Persona Super Live 2015” concert, Atlus is releasing Persona 4: Golden PS Vita the Best, a greatest hits version of Persona 4: Golden, which will be available in Japan on February 5th, the same date as the concert. Atlus wanted to stream over 30 hours of content prior to the events of the concert and the release of Persona 4: Golden PS Vita the Best so that the entirety of the event would be like one massive gathering to show adoration for one of the best Atlus franchises of all time. It’s going to be like one big party for Persona fans.
The broadcast will be available to watch on Nico Nico Douga as well as Atlus’s Japanese Persona site at 1pm on February 4th (JP time). It’s uncertain what exactly may be shown at this time, but hopefully we will get a better look at everything that Atlus has in the works for the franchise including some unannounced titles.
