The design of the phone is truly impressive and the manufacturers seem to have found a way to make the device attractive without having to put the front-facing camera on the bottom bezel like Sharp did with the Aquos Crystal.
The screen to body ration on the Serendipity S7 is what makes the device truly remarkable, aside from the bezel-less design of course. From the promo images, we can clearly see that you’ve virtually no bezels on the sides of the phone and thin bezels on the top and bottom, which make the phone look absolutely stunning, in my honest opinion. The handset seems to pack a 5.5 inch display in a body that looks like one you’d see on a much smaller phone with a 5.3 or even a 5 inch display.
The bezel-less smartphone is admirably thin and light, measuring 145*72*6.9 mm and weighing just 120 grams. Even though it’s not the thinnest or lightest phone out there, its design is unique and impressive. The handset comes with a 5.5 inch display with a 1080*1920 resolution which makes up about 86 % of the phone’s whole body. Specs of the device aren’t crystal clear yet, but from what we can understand, it will run on a quad core CPU backed by 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. You will also get a 13 MP rear and 5 MP front camera, 2600 mAh battery unit, two SIM card slots and LTE.
Hardware and performance might not be interesting in the Serendipity S7, but its bezel-less design is certainly worth attention. Pricing and availability hasn’t been officially revealed yet, but we will be back with more information on that once it is made available. Since we’re talking about a mid-ranger with LTE and dual SIM card slots, as well as a Chinese smartphone, we expect competitive pricing on the handset.
