The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be receiving a great looking collector’s edition when the game releases next year. The set will come with a steelbook case for the game, and it looks beautiful.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s collector’s edition will come with a few items, including an exclusive figure, medallion, art book, collector’s box, and a steelbook case. Now, CD Projekt Red has released images of the artwork that will cover the steelbook case. The artwork, which can be seen below, is by designer Studio Kxx.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is being developed by CD Projekt Red. The game features an open world, with the studio claiming that the title’s setting will be 30 times larger than previous Witcher entries. The game features an action RPG combat system, and will now allow combat while on horseback. CD Projekt Red promises the game will clock in at around 100 hours, with 50 belonging to the main story line, and 50 to side quests. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will conclude the story of Geralt of Rivia. Geralt is setting out on a personal mission. Its is during this mission, however, that the mysterious army known as the Wild Hunt invades the Northern Kingdoms. The Wild Hunt are leaving destruction in their wake, and it seems that Geralt is the key to stopping them. It was recently revealed that the character Ciri will be playable for a part of the game. While she unlocks narrative possibilities, she will not be playable in the same way that Geralt is. The Witcher 3 will allow players to make a wealth of choices, which will affect where the game’s narrative goes.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt releases on May 19th. The game will release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Witcher 3 was originally planned for a 2014 release. The game was delayed into an early 2015 release, and was delayed again into the May 19th release date.
