Did you gift yourself with a OnePlus One smartphone this Christmas? If not, you may want to do it before the year ends and the good news is that it might not even cost you anything. OnePlus recently announced a special contest entitled “7 days of giveways”, and it’s exactly what it sounds like. The giveaway kicked off this Friday, December 26th and will last for a few more days until the start of the new year. Each day the company will offer participants the chance to win various prizes, which include free codes for the Flow Launcher, skins for the OnePlus One and several Phonejoy smartphone gaming controllers, among others.
As you might imagine, the manufacturer is also giving away OnePlus One smartphones. A 16 GB Silk White variant of the device was already given away yesterday, but we can only assume that more will follow in the coming days as well. There have been other similar contests earlier this year, but this one is a bit more special since it’s open to people from all countries. It’s interesting to note that the prizes are not announced beforehand as they are only revealed once a new day of competition starts. As of this writing, there are still four days left in the contest and the prizes seem to be getting better with each passing day.
Presumably, there will also be a 64 GB OnePlus One up for grabs sometime in the coming days, so make sure you keep an eye out for that. Unsurprisingly, participants are required to follow certain steps in order to be considered eligible for this contest. These involve things such as accessing various websites, filling out forms, sharing the news on social media, and of course, keeping your fingers crossed. In other words, the usual routine.
