Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance has been known to be coming to the PlayStation 4 in Japan. Now it has been confirmed that the title will be coming to America.
On the PlayStation Blog, it was confirmed by NIS America that Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance will be coming to the U.S. Nippon Ichi Software had announced that the game will be coming out in Fall of 2015. Disgaea 5 will feature an all-new cast of characters as they fight for vengeance. Players will encounter hilarious writing, over-the-top animations, and absurd damage numbers. The game was first announced on September 1st at the Tokyo Game Show. While NIS had originally considered a multi-platform release, the studio felt that the project could only be done on the PlayStation 4.
In the upcoming Disgaea, the central story revolves around the concept of revenge. An evil demon emperor called Dark Void devastates numerous Netherworlds after coming into power. Due to this, the Overlords of these Netherworlds under Dark Void’s rule attempt to rise up against the emperor and take revenge. The lead character is Killia, a young demon who seeks revenge against Dark Void. Killia will be joined by Seraphine, a sheltered princess and daughter of the demon king of the Gorgeous Underworld who aims to fight Dark Void’s army, The Lost. Also with them is the Demon king of the Rabbit Rabbit World Usaria, who rides a giant yellow Prinny into combat. Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance will feature new systems not seen in previous titles in the series, and will take advantage of the PS4’s power. For example, the number of characters that can be displayed on screen has increased from 10 to 100 characters.
Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance will release in Japan on March 26, 2015. The game will be available for the PlayStation 4. North American gamers can expect to play the title in Fall of 2015.
