Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd is the latest rhythm game to star the Japanese vocaloid star. As such, Sega has released some new DLC for the title, and has more coming vey soon.
The first bit of DLC content has already been released. The set features six holiday based costume modules for various characters. The six characters receiving Christmas outfits are: Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, Kaito, and Meiko. The costume modules are available for purchase individually or as a bundle.
The second wave of DLC will release on December 16th. The song “Look This Way, Baby!” by Ryo will be available, as well as six costume modules. The six modules are: Miku’s Bunny Ears Hoodie, Rin’s Alparka Hoodie R, Len’s Alparka Hoodie L, Luka’s Kitty Ears Hoodie, Kaito’s Fishy Overalls, and Meiko’s Wooly Wear. Once again, all the pieces of DLC can be purchased individually or as a bundle. This batch of content will also come with downloadable custom free UI skins. All of the DLC is cross-buy enabled, meaning that any content purchased on either platform will work on both the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.
The sequel to the first Project Diva F, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd continues the rhythm based gameplay from the first title. Project Diva F 2nd features 40 songs for gamers to play through, including new songs and tracks from the past title. Along with the tracks that come packed with the game, additional songs will be made available over time through DLC packs. The game features cross-save support between the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, and is compatible with the PS Vita TV. Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd received critical praise when it was released, with the rhythmic gameplay being the game’s strong suit.
