Black Friday PlayStation 4 Bundles Announced

We are getting closer and closer to the holiday season with Black Friday being two weeks away. As expected, companies are promoting their various holiday bundles to grow the install base and offer a deal to those who haven’t already purchased their eighth generation consoles. Today on the Official PlayStation Blog Sony outlined two PlayStation 4 bundles: Grand Theft Auto V and LEGO Batman 3 Beyond Gotham.

The first PlayStation 4 bundle includes: Grand Theft Auto V, PlayStation 4 (500GB), and a voucher for The Last of Us Remastered, another 2013 game that was given an enhanced re-release on the PlayStation 4 with all previously released content available on the disc, all for $399.99 MSRP. Grand Theft Auto V was released in late 2013 and was a huge success, making $800 million in the first day of release and $1 billion in the first three days. At E3 2014, Rockstar announced an enhanced version of Grand Theft Auto V would be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The updated game has better draw distance, more detailed textures, more traffic and new weather as well as new content from weapons to vehicles. Those who upgrade from their PS3 or Xbox 360 version will also receive bonus content, including new songs for the game’s radio stations. One of the largest enhancements made is a first person view option where you can play the entire game from an FPS perspective, something that has never been done in a Grand Theft Auto game.

The other PlayStation 4 bundle appeals to a younger audience, with a PlayStation 4 (500GB), LEGO Batman 3 Beyond Gotham and LittleBigPlanet 3 for only $399.99 MSRP. LEGO Batman 3 Beyond Gotham was released this past Tuesday, November 11, and continues the LEGO game’s tradition of letting you unlock and play a large roster, featuring tons of DC heroes and villains. LittleBigPlanet 3 is set to release on November 18 and has new characters, named OddSock, Swoop and Toggle, joining Sackboy/girl on their adventures.

These PlayStation 4 bundles will be available starting on Black Friday while supplies last. If you haven’t already purchased a PlayStation 4, grabbing one of these bundles is your best option!
