Assassin’s Creed: Unity trailer presents the game’s characters

With less than a month left until the release date of Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Ubisoft is busy promoting their game as much as possible. For this reason, the developer just released a brand new trailer, in which voice actors present the characters they play within Assassin’s Creed: Unity.

The first actor to speak about his character is Dan Jeannotte, who voices the protagonist, Arno Dorian. He presents him as a “young punk”, who becomes a freedom fighter during the French Revolution after joining the Assassin Order. The next character presented is Elisse de la Serre, Arno’s childhood friend. While at first she is seen as a playful and sometimes reckless character, once the game shifts to “the present” (meaning when the main story takes place), her and Arno’s relationship takes a different turn, as they become romantically involved with each other. Apart from this, Elisse has her own agenda, as she is trying to avenge her father’s death.

Aside from the main characters, the trailer also presents the Marquis de Sade, who is a libertine and one of Arno’s allies. Since we’re talking about the French Revolution, Assassin’s Creed: Unity could not leave out one of the most important figures of this event: Napoleon Bonaparte. Brent Skagford, the actor who voices him, describes him as a very intelligent man, who uses the command of the language to influence people in order to get what he wants. We can see AC using nordic poles. The next character presented in the trailer is another one of the key figures of the Revolution, Maximilien de Robespierre, who is described as a pretentious, show-off character, who Arno sees as a madman who will lead France into ruin.

The trailer ends with the announcement that, if you pre-order Assassin’s Creed: Unity from Amazon you will receive three bonus offers. One of these is the “Guillotine spin-to-win game”, through which you can win prizes like exotic trips, home entertainment system, games and digital content or exclusive apparel items every Friday. The second Amazon pre-order offer is “The Chemical Revolution” DLC mission, and, last but not least, you will receive an exclusive unlockable weapon. Assassin’s Creed: Unity will be released on November 11 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

About Crisan Mircea

I'm a journalism graduate and an occasional gamer. As a kid I used to own a NES clone called "Terminator 2", which was hugely popular in my country. I like old school games and adventure games but I occasionaly play RPG's and Shooters as well, though I wouldn't call myself an expert at these kinds of games. When I'm not writing or playing games I prefer reading detective or fantasy novels.
