Microsoft announced that they are releasing two Assassin’s Creed Xbox One bundles, in time for the holiday season. The bundles contain not one, but two completely free games from Ubisoft’s historical action series.
Through a post on the Xbox website, Microsoft revealed the two Assassin’s Creed Xbox One bundles, which will soon be available worldwide. The first bundle includes the regular Xbox One console, plus Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, for $399, which is basically the price you’d pay for the console without these titles. If you prefer buying Xbox One with Kinect, you will pay $499 and, in addition to the offer above, you will also receive Dance Central Spotlight. These two Xbox One bundles will be available starting November 2 in North America and November 4 in the rest of the world.
Yusuf Mehdi, the Microsoft vice president, explained the company’s decision to bring out so many bundles, while promising more surprises to come over the following months. “This holiday we’re focused on offering fans the best games, with unprecedented choice and value. We’ve lined up an incredible set of bundles to support the launch of some of the most anticipated game launches of the year, including Assassin’s Creed Unity, Sunset Overdrive, and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Combined with our award-winning games line-up this holiday, it’s an incredible time to play on Xbox One. Over the next two months, we look forward to celebrating with fans every week as we launch new games, new bundles, and a few surprises for Xbox One.”
All in all, this seems like Microsoft doing things right. They are focusing on game offers for the Xbox One, which is a good thing, and which may actually raise their chances against PlayStation 4. Stay tuned, as Microsoft will probably announce more Xbox One bundles until the holidays arrive, and we will be here to spread the news.
