Starting this winter, the adventurer Lara will be engaging in her tomb raiding missions once again in Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris – the sequel of The Guardian of Light, courtesy of Crystal Dynamics. The game will carry on in the spirit of its critically acclaimed predecessor, offering an adventure packed experience. Lara Croft will be travelling to Egypt this time and will team up with rival treasure hunter Carter Bell and imprisoned gods Horus and Isis to defeat the maleficent Set. Temple of Osiris will be featuring a four-player cooperative gameplay in which players will be truly put to the test. Solving tricky puzzles, dismantling deadly traps, and claiming those valued treasures will be some of your challenging tasks. In the meantime, you’ll have to check if your PC will snap under the iron teeth of a snare or will it make it to the treasure vault in one piece. We would have probably expected to see a similar list of specs to that of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, but unfortunately this sequel is asking a lot more from players’ rigs. Perhaps rightly so, as Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris will offer a more rewarding and enhanced graphics experience compared to its predecessor. As we’ve seen in many recent releases, the contrast between minimum and recommended requirements is quite high. The minimum specs should not be a problem, as the game requires modest dual core CPUs, 4 Gigs of RAM and low end Nvidia GT 520 or Radeon HD 6450. When talking about recommended specs, it gets a little bit more tricky – the game requires an astonishing amount of 8GB of RAM, lining up with very few recent massive titles. Your rig will have to be packing an Intel i5 750 or AMD Phenom II 955, which is also pretty high, while in the graphics department two pretty capable cards are required: Nvidia GTX 650 or Radeon R7 250X. Nevertheless, a decent gaming rig should get the job done without any problem. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is set to launch this December 9th, on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
