Insomniac Games is showing “willingness” to keep fans engaged and excited in anticipation of their new release, Sunset Overdrive – an open world third-person shooter destined exclusively for Xbox One gamers. The vast metropolis of Sunset City will be the playground for slug fests and wall running chases in a mission to bring down those overdosed energy drinking humans that have taken a mutant form. Sunset Overdrive will land at the end of this month, but until then, we’ll be checking out a big list of achievements to get inside the game a little bit. Many of these achievements focus on simply finishing the game, but an extensive list of collectibles is also showcased. Players will be able to get their hands on hologram signs, fashion items, shoes hanging from wires or toilet paper, and many more. The inventory of collectibles seems endless.

Sunset Overdrive will be focusing on agile combat in a SF setting, where the “dystopian” world is controlled by a huge corporation named FizzCo. The main character will be highly customizable as players will be able to modify its gender, skin tone, and body type. You will play as a FizzCo employee to end up fighting humans that have transformed into monsters after drinking a FizzCo energy drink called Overcharge Delirium XT. Players will be able to choose from a varied arsenal of weapons, and will be able to carry up to eight fire power tools to help in the fight against the mutant creatures. Agility will be the key to surviving. Sunset Overdrive is set to launch on October 28, this year in North America and October 31 in Europe.
