Persona 2, the second title in the series, was released as two different installments, “Innoncent Sin”, released in 1999 and “Eternal Punishment”, released in 2000. While “Eternal Punishment” was also launched in the USA, “Innocent Sin” only got to the States in 2011, on the Playstation Portable. Persona 3 represented a change in the game’s design as it introduced simulation elements. Playes would control a high school student who attends classes at day, has the possiblity to do certain activities after classes, such as seing movie or hanging out with a classmate. The game’s combat takes place at night. Characters can summon their inner Persona by using a device called “Evoker”. The next game in the series, Persona 4, features similar gameplay.
