GameStop has already listed the pre-order bonus for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. According to the website, pre-ordering the compilation will grant you an item that goes by the name of Bandana Skull. This item will give you unlimited ammo and grenades for all four games. There are certainly a lot of people who will find this very appealing, but considering that the Bandana Skull basically makes the game easier I think the hardcore Halo fans will want to play without it. In any case, Halo: The Master Chief Collection can be pre-ordered from here and will cost you $60. This special collection includes Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4.
All the games come in remastered format and feature glorious 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second. You will get a total of 45 campaign missions and more than 100 multiplayer maps. The included copies of Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 are the Anniversary ones, which have remastered campaigns and some bonus content. “Celebrating the 10 year Anniversary, the iconic fan favorite returns. Featuring a fully re-mastered campaign with “Classic Mode” allowing you to instantly switch between the re-mastered game and the original game from 2004. Uncover new Halo 5: Guardians story elements in hidden terminal videos and utilize all new skulls to experience the campaign in a whole new way. Including 23 original multiplayer maps just as fans remember them, plus 6 completely re-imagined maps.”
Last but not least, Halo: The Master Chief Collection also gives you Halo: Nightfall, a new live action digital series designed to lead up to the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians. Speaking of the next chapter in the series, the compilation will grant you access to its beta testing phase. Halo 5: Guardians beta begins on December 27th and lasts until January 17th. The game will be launched for the Xbox One sometime during Fall 2015. Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be released on November 11th.
