Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
During Microsoft’s E3 press conference, Activision got to show off its new ingame footage for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The 9 minute footage shows parts of the single-player campaign and an attack on Seoul. Advanced Warfare will feature some really cool future tech, from spider tanks, laser weapons, drones, to mach suits that takes the feel of the game closet to Halo or Titanfall. The graphics are great and the action is intense, as with all Call of Duty games.
Bloodborne
Previously entitled project Beast, Bloodborne from From Software presents a weird, gory and horror field world. Sony’s description of Bloodborne: “Face your fears as you search for answers in the ancient city of Yharnam, now cursed with a strange endemic illness spreading through the streets like wildfire. Danger, death and madness lurk around every corner of this dark and horrific world, and you must discover its darkest secrets in order to survive.” Bloodborne is set for 2015 and based on current information; it will be only available for the PS4.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
Another highly anticipated title has been revealed during the E3 press conference. Uncharted 4: Thief’s End got presented by a teaser video presents the retired fortune hunter, Nathan Drake who’s forced to return to the world of thieves. All footage in the trailed was captured using the game engine and it looks pretty awesome. Naughty Dog revealed that the game will run in full HD at 60fps and mentioned that “right now Drake’s Uncharted 4 model is over double the polygons of Joel from The Last of Us PS3.” The game is already available for pre-order and it will arrive sometime in 2015.
Ori and the Blind Forrest
Stepping away from the realistic looking graphics, Ori and the Blind forest focuses to deliver some deep feels and action with looks that look as good and well made as a Pixar film. The trailer is short but shows some of the gameplay and story of the game. The feel and atmosphere of the game is beautiful and worth to check out in detail once it arrives later this year.
Rise of the Tomb Raider
The reboot of the series enjoyed great success and sold over six million copies, no wonder Square Enix is already working on the new Tomb Raider game. It will be called Rise Of The Tomb Raider and it’s presented in a short teaser video at E3 2014 last night. The trailed shows Lara in therapy, no wonder after all she endures in the first game. We can also see some flashbacks presenting the same fast action, heart stopping elements that made the reboot such a success. Rise Of The Tomb Raider should come out next year around Christmas.
