The Taiwanese company, HTC, does not seem to be a big fan of the Windows OS, but even so, the second Windows Phone is about to arrive in Q3 of this year. The first model wearing Windows 8 was first known as the HTC Accord and then it changed its name into HTC Windows Phone 8X. It was released at the end of 2012 and its specifications were pointing in a good direction. Today, a new leak informs that the HTC W8 flagship is on the way and it will be wearing Windows 8.1. Another certain information is that it is heading for Verizon. Everything else is just speculations. So, speculations exist and say that the new model will come with integrated BoomSound speakers, a Duo camera and a Snapdragon 801 processor. Also, it will probably have 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and Ultrapixel technology for its camera.
So far, the secret is very well kept but we have several months ahead until Q3, so many more leaks will surely be happening quite often. Speculations about this new Windows Phone powered by HTC have been circulating around since early April, but since @evleaks is the source now, everyone seems to be sure about accuracy of the information.
The W8 will probably be based on the same principle, looking to satisfy the high expectations and selling it for a mid-range price tag. Therefore, we are patiently waiting for new updates to be received about the HTC’s Windows Phone.
