After the launch of the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini is the most expected model to be released by the Korean company, due to the strong specifications and the fact that the Mini models are expected to be cheaper than the original versions. The most hunted smartphone of 2014 was definitely the Samsung Galaxy S5. Leaked photos of the S5 Mini leaked this week containing a smaller device that includes heart rate and fingerprint sensors. Rumors have it that the water resistant shell on the back of the phone has been kept as a feature of the S5 mini. The surprising thing is that Samsung will not downgrade the model too much, as it did with the Galaxy S4 mini and it will keep the Ultra Power Saving Mode, Private Mode, Kids Mode and a high-end hardware.

The leak does not include a release date or a price, but we expect it to be released before this autumn, during the Q2. The mini version of this model also popped up on the Samsung’s website a few weeks ago, but it has been quickly removed for unknown reasons. A certain fact is that the Galaxy S5 Mini will target budget consumers, only one month after its bigger brother came to light. The Samsung Galaxy S5 mini will probably also be compatible to all the Samsung’s smartwatches and latest accessories. So far, it is believed to be coming only in black and white flavors but Samsung might change its mind until the smartphone’s release. By comparison to the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, this new baby seems to be ready for a bigger show on this year’s smartphone market.
