There are few names in the MMORPG department that carry as much weight as Everquest. The rebirth of the world of Norrath will bring new and unique systems, an every-changing world and a dynamic story line. But what’s the hardware cost for the new Everquest? Well, we’ve just found out.

It seems that the new Everquest will wear down heavily on your CPU, and will also require quite the graphical horsepower to run smoothly. The investment is well-worth it though, as the game brings some stunning visuals and a great level of detail. Everquest Next will also require a fairly fast internet connection (nothing surprising there), with a 10Mb or higher download speed. If you’re planning on streaming, you’ll need a decent upload speed as well, obviously.
Everequest Next’s alpha is set for a 28th of February 2014 release, but there is a good chance it will be released even sooner. So if you’re missing on the hardware side, hurry up and get ready. Everquest will most likely be worth it! And, until then, check out a new trailer for the game, detailing the crafting system.
